The Rock’s Snitch Adds Kanakaredes, Gavron and Velazquez
Looks like Ric Roman Waugh’s action thriller “Snitch” is in full casting mode, with the production recently adding the trio of Melina Kanakaredes, Rafi Gavron and Nadine Velazquez to its cast. The three new faces join Dwayne The Rock Johnson, who will play a tough hombre of a father who agrees to be a snitch for the DEA in order to help reduce his wayward son’s 10-year jail sentence. Rafi Gavron (left), who has appeared in “24″ and “Life Unexpected”, as well as the movie “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist”, will play the Rock’s son, while Melina Kanakaredes (“CSI: New York”) and Nadine Velazquez (“My Name is Earl”) will play the Rock’s ex-wife and current wife, respectively. Besides Johnson in the lead, Waughn’s “Snitch” also has Susan Sarandon, Barry Pepper, “The Walking Dead’s” Jon Bernthal and Michael K. Williams mixing it up.
